GV II

Barn, now house. Circa 1720, possibly by Sir John Vanbrugh. Brick with slate roofs.
End stacks with brick dentil bands to tops. Cross shape, 2 storeys on brick plinth.
Plat band over ground floor, brick dentilled plat band to eaves, forming pediment
moulding, open to base. 3 bays, centre projecting under pediment. C20 leaded
casement windows, one 4-light window in outer bays, lunette window to first floor
centre. Planked and ribbed door behind C20 glazed doors to centre .
Left hand return front: Pediment moulding, 2 ground floor angle bay windows.
Right hand return front: catslide extension with end wing and garage additions.
Part of the group of service buildings belonging to Claremont House.
