Library. 1907-9. By J W Dunford. Red brick, ashlar dressings. Tiled hipped
roof; 2 storeys, 4 bays, centre pair slightly set forward flanked by Ionic order
of columns and segmental open pediment above; inset round headed windows. Outer
windows to upper storey square-headed with round windows above. Decorative archi-
traves and prominent keystones to windows. Sashes to ground floor. Timber
mullions and transoms with leaded lights to first floor. Rusticated ashlar ground
floor with entrance to right of centre; round-headed, richly moulded and carved.
Panelled door. Doric ogeed cupola of timber and copper to roof.
