Detached house. 1862. Stucco. 3 storeys, attic and basement. 3 bays wide, 1:1:1, symmetrical. Channelling to ground floor. Steps to central entrance with Doric half columns. Wrought and cast-iron glazed canopy over steps. 2-storey canted bay window to each side with Ionic pilasters to upper storey. Pilasters to outer windows on second floor. Small balustraded balcony to central window. Rich cornice. Balustraded parapet incorporating 3 dormers, the outer 2 pedimented, the inner with chinmey outlets. Cast-iron balconies to ground floor.

INTERIOR: retains an exceptional amount of original features including marble and wooden fireplaces (including an unusual small fireplace below the main stairs), plasterwork, doors and door surrounds, cupboards (especially in the basement) and a later conservatory added to the rear.

The house is part of the Holland Park planned layout.
