GV II

House. C16 with C18 front, extended to left in early C18. "1737 H.K."
inscribed in gable. Timber framed, clad in red and brown brick, brown
brick wing to right, left hand wing of blue brick with red brick dressings.
Plain tiled roof with shaped tiles to half-hipped roof on right. 2 storeys
on plinth, gauged brick plat band over ground floor left, plat band to centre
and right over ground floor. Tall multiple stack to left of centre with
corbelled top, end stack to right. Wing to left projects with one 20-pane
glazing bar sash window in flush box frame on each floor under gauged brick
heads. 3 casement windows to first floor centre, middle window in projecting
break. False window painted to left, two larger ground floor casements to
centre under cambered heads. One casement to first floor of right hand extension,
one glazing bar sash window below. Fielded panel door to centre with carved
festoons and classical figures.

Rear: tile hung wing. Two hipped wings to centre.

Interior: Some framing - old exterior close-stud walls preserved, deep brick
fireplace.
