Outbuilding. Late C18-early C19. For the Owston Hall estate. Rubble magnesian limestone, stone slate eaves courses to pantile roof. Two storeys; two-celled loose box beneath single room entered from external steps at south end. Large quoins. East side has a brick round-arched opening to each side of adjoining field wall with casement windows over; central brick stack at eaves. Left return: external stone steps set on brickwork rise from left over a round-arched recess with bricked-up doorway within; first-floor boarded door with obscured window on its left.

Interior: first-floor fireplace. Said to have been used as village schoolroom.
