Barn and stables. Barn: early C18 with late C18/early C19 porch; stables: 1740
on datestone. Weatherboarded timber-framing on limestone-rubble plinth and
Flemish-bond brick on rubble plinth; corrugated-iron roof. 4-bay weatherboarded
barn has a porch and opposed full-height doors. 2-bay stable range, with loft
over, has a higher plinth with brick quoins and a moulded weathering, and has
altered openings. A brick is inscribed with the date. Roof is continuous over
both sections. Interior: barn has a clasped-purlin roof with curved inner
principals, short curved struts, some straight windbraces, and the posts have
moulded and chip-carved jowls. Interior of stables not inspected.
