Dwelling, post office and shop. Late medieval and mid C18. Originally timber framed, refaced in brick. Thatched roof. Two storeys, lobby entry plan of 4 bays, the left bay single storey and attic, altered. Right 3 bays refaced in C18 with red and vitrified blue brick in vertical bands. Door in first of 3 bays, with shop window and 3-light casement windows with segmental brick arches. Two upper floor windows blank. Central stack and stack added to right gable. Right gable has rendering concealing full cruck. Interior has various timbers in shop. Sun Insurance mark No 386497.
