Forge Cottage

Cottages, now house. Late C17-early C18 and early C19. Timber-framed with
brick noggings and thatched roof. Two storeys. Right end of 7-bays of timber
framing on brick sill and thin horizontal members making 4 panels high. Left
block of 4 bays, early C19, with boarded door under thatched canopy. Paned
casement windows in segmental headed openings and flush vitrified stretcher
course over. Stack opposite door and to left gable. Early C20 lean-to to
right with rear thatched wing.
