Marlstone wall, approximately 1.8metres high, has a flat coping, sweeping up at the southern end to a contemporary square pier with plinth, moulded cap and chamfered rustication. At north end are two large C19 rusticated limestone piers, with elaborate carved finials, enclosing a pair of wrought-iron gates.
