House. Mid C18 with early C19 alterations. 2 storeys and
attics, 5 windows. Stuccoed walls with parapet; corner pilasters
at either end. Plaintiled roof with flat-roofed dormers having
sash windows; gable chimneys of red brick. Sash windows, the
sashes renewed with large panes C19. Good mid-C18 entrance
doorway; door with 6 fielded panel and semi-circular fanlight
having intersecting curved glazing bars; pilasters supporting a
broken pediment. Above the entrance a simple Venetian window
over the staircase, the sashes replaced with large panes C19. A
fine complete C18 staircase with balustrading in the Chinese
Chippendale manner up to 1st floor and with heavier framing and
turned balusters up to 2nd floor.
