House, now shop. c1785, altered c1900 and C20. Painted
sandstone ashlar in narrow courses. Slate roof. Double-depth
plan with the entrance and rear extension to the right. 3
storeys and a single wide bay between chamfered quoins with,
on the right, traces of the original plinth and ground-floor
sill band. The ground floor has been altered by the insertion
of a shop front, now wholly glazed, but set between timber
pilasters of c1900. The windows on the first and second floors
are paired, and have C20 joinery on the 1st floor, and fixed
frames with glazing bars on the second floor. They are offset
to the right to make way, according to the deeds of 1784, for
a 7-feet entrance leading to the back of the property.
