Wall behind No 23

GV II

Remains of 2-storey south wall of former warehouse. C15.
Brick. No roof. East end has two blocked 4-centred window
openings to first floor and two 4-centred doorways to ground,
that to east blocked, the other in use as an arch over
pedestrian way. South flank with 2 stepped brick buttresses,
the western one with a pedestrian passage cut through. Between
the buttresses runs a timber bressumer at high level, function
unknown.
