2 houses. Early C18. Colourwashed brick. Plaintile roof. 2
storeys and dormer attic Carriage opening in centre divides
properties. No.8 with a panelled door below a pedimented hood
on plain door surrounds. 4-vaned fanlight. One sash window
left and 2 to first floor, all with glazing bars and segmental
arches. C19 casement over carriage entrance. No.10 entered
through plain panelled door to left. One sash with glazing
bars to right set within a flush frame. 2 early C19 casements
to first floor and, to right of elevation, a blind window.
Gabled roof continues over both houses. 2 dormers, that to
No.8 gabled, the other sloping. Internal gable-end stack to
north. Second stack to south emerging through front roof
slope. At the rear No.8 has a 2-storey and attic cross wing
under a very steeply-pitched Mansard roof. South face with a
C20 door and, at first floor, a C18 casement. Tile-hung east
gable-head. No.10 has a pantiled outshut with a wrought-iron
casement. INTERIOR. No.10 with a chamfered bridging beam in
front ground-floor room. Late C20 staircase. INTERIOR of No.8
not inspected.
