House, formerly house and shop. Late C18. Red brick with slate
roof. 2 storeys and dormer attic C20 door set back to left.
Large and notable example of an early C19 shopfront with
multiple glazing bars under a hood supported on consoles.
Above are 2 horned C19 sashes with glazing bars within exposed
boxes, and a painted blind window to left. Gabled roof with 2
gabled dormers lit through sashes. Internal gable-end stack to
south and ridge stack to north shared with No.28 (qv).
