Terraced houses. 1839-41. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond,
dressings of stucco, roof of Welsh slate. No 28 of two storeys
with two windows: nos 26 and 30 have two-storey outer entrance
bays set back, and one of three storeys and three windows
each. Basement stuccoed. Flat-arched entrances with overlights
and panelled doors of original design, those to nos 26 and 30
set back under a flat-arched porch, and that to no 30
simplified in its details; the entrance to no 28 is flanked by
fluted quarter-columns with cornice, and overlight with
decorative glazing. All windows flat-arched with heads of
gauged brick, those to the ground floor set back under
elliptical arches of gauged brick, the arches linked across no
28 and the inner bays of nos 26 and 30 by a stucco springing
band; parapets to outer bays of nos 26 and 30, which also have
a second-floor window in the gabled return; stacks to party
walls.
