Terraced house now shops and offices, dated on a plaque
inscribed 'PHELPS COTTAGE 1838' above entrance. Brick
stuccoed, hipped roof of Welsh slate. Two storeys,
three-window range and double-fronted to south, one-window
range to Islington High Street. Round-arched entrance with
fluted pilasters, cornice on brackets and archivolt, panelled
door of original design. Right-hand ground-floor window
flat-arched with moulded stucco architrave, left-hand altered;
upper windows flat-arched with moulded stucco architraves;
round-arched windows to return in Islington High Street. 6/6
sashes of original design to all upper windows. Right-hand
corner curved, quoins to left-hand edge. Boxed eaves, stacks
to rear of hipped roof.
