II

Pottery works. 1814. For John and Richard Riley. Later
alterations. Brick with plain tiled roofs. Two right-angled
ranges with angled corner forming original entrance bay.
Doorways now blocked, but Palladian windows over survive, and
date stone in pedimented gable. Main ranges possibly rebuilt or
refenestrated in the later C19. The design with pedimented
canted corner takes advantage of the unusual corner site.
