4 cottages. c1800, restored 1982. Brick with pantile roofs and
2 ridge stacks. 2 storeys; 9 window range. Blind backs.
Windows are mainly 2-light Yorkshire sashes. Doors are close
boarded. Ground floor openings have segmental heads. 2
off-centre sashes flanked to left by a single smaller casement
and to right by 2 similar casements. Beyond, to left, a single
sash, and to right, 3 sashes. Below, to left, a door and to
its right a small casement and 3 sashes. Then a door and 2
casements. To right again, a door, 3 sashes and another door.
This building is a similar type of urban housing to the courts
of Nottingham.
