corner of wall of railway bridge

GV II

Drinking fountain. Dated 1858. Sandstone and pink marble.
Built into south-west corner of parapet of bridge;
semi-circular marble bowl with rectangular reredos panel dated
1858 (spout furnishings missing), a sandstone plaque above
this with worn lettering, and a pitched upstand with a trefoil
cusp at the top and flat stone coping. Forms group with
railway bridge (q.v.), and with Nos 11 and 13 (q.v.)
diagonally opposite, and with No.36 (q.v.) on opposite corner
of Railway Road.
