House. Early/mid C19. Flemish-bond brick, stone stepped
voussoirs, cills and hood to door, double-pitched pantile roof
with brick stacks to left gable ends. Double-depth plan. 3
storeys with basement; 2-window range. Stepped back from the
Methodist Church on the right (qv); a bracketed eaves cornice
and C20 railings to the basement area. Flat arches to the
voussoirs, 3/6-pane sash windows to the second floor and
6/6-panes to the rest. Late C19 hood and 4-panel door with
bolection moulding to top, beaded panels to the base and a
cast-iron knocker, has overlight flanked by fluted pendants
below brackets to the hood. INTERIOR not inspected but noted
as having panelled shutters to the ground floor.
