Public House. c16 or C17 with C19 and C20 additions. Timber framed with
rendered infill. Thatched roof, slates and pantiles. Two storeys. Road
front: central earlier portion with C19 additions to either side and C20
extension at rear. Two storeys. Entrance front: central portion of 3
bays. Doorway at right of centre with plank door. To right of this is a
3-light casement window and to left 2 similar windows, all of C19 date.
The first floor here has 3 swept dormer windows with semi-circular tympana
above the 2-light casements. The thatched roof is half-hipped at right and
gabled at left and has a ridge chimney stack to left of centre with 2 pots.
To right of this is a single-storey addition of colour-washed brick with
one 3-light window to left of centre and 2 chimney stacks. The left hand
addition is of 2 storeys with a plank door at right, a 3-light ground floor
window at left and a 2-light first floor window to the centre. Chimney
stack to the left hand gable end. Rear: C20 single storey extension at
right. All C20 fenestration.

Interior: Chamfered and encased ceiling beams.
