Cottage

House, now 2 houses. Early/mid C18, with early C19 bay (Mosses Cottage) to
right. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled concrete tile roof; left end and right
ridge stacks of stone finished in brick. 2-extended to 3-unit plan. 2 storeys
and attic; irregular 4-window range. Rose Cottage has chamfered timber lintel
over central C20 plank door with C19 gabled stone slate hood; chamfered timber
lintels over C20 casements and, to right of door, flat stone arches over C20
one-light window above 2-light casement. Mosses Cottage to right has timber
lintels over late C19 plank door with C19 gabled stone slate hood and C20
casements. Gabled C20 roof dormer. Interiors not inspected but likely to be of
interest.
