House. Early C17, extended early C19 with minor later alterations. Uncoursed
limestone rubble; stone slate roof. L-plan comprising 2-bay C17 range with C19
addition at right-angles to rear on left. 2 storeys and attic. 2-window front;
C19 casements in earlier plain stone surrounds on each floor to left and right
of central infilled entrance. 2-light mullioned windows with dripstones to
prominent gabled full dormers, right with leaded lights. Integral end stack with
moulded dripstone and two C20 concrete shafts to right and C20 rebuilt end stack
to left. Infilled mullioned window to left gable end and 2-light mullioned
window with dripstone to right gable end on ground floor. C19 range has
contemporary casements with wood lintels to each floor, those to first floor
directly below eaves. 6-panel door to left and integral end stack to right.
Interior. Boxed ceiling beams in ground-floor room (formerly 2 rooms) of C17
part. Traces of winder staircase to right of fireplace to right gable end.
Chamfered spine beams to first-floor rooms. Staircase in C19 addition has square
newels and stick balusters.
