II
Farmhouse, now detached house. Late C17, extended C18 and C19. Rubble stone,
thatched roof with gable end brick stacks. L-plan. Single-storey and attic,
3-window. Planked door to right of centre with 2-light casement to right and
4-pane fixed window to left, 3-light casement to added left hand bay. Eyebrow
dormer to right with 2-light casement, two raking dormers to left with 2-light
casements. Right return has short stone buttress, no windows. Rear C20 glazed
door to right, small 24-pane sash and 2-light casement to left. Late C19 2-storey
wing to right has 2-light casements and blocked doorway. Left return also with
2-light casements.
Interior of original C17 range has open fireplace with chamfered cranked lintel
with stepped stops, on stone jambs, chamfered beams with stepped stops, winding
stairs against south side of fireplace, planked doors and some plank and muntin
around stairs.
