Terrace of improved workers' houses. Completed by 1868. By
Lockwood and Mawson for Titus Salt. Hammer-dressed stone.
Welsh slate roof. Two storeys. Each house is of 2 bays.
Entrances, with fanlights, in stepped reveals and ground-floor
windows are all round-arched and archivolted. Square-headed
lst-floor windows paired to No 22. Square-headed lst-floor windows
paired to No 22. Square stone brackets to gutter. The right
gable end has a 3-light canted bay to ground floor and paired
round-arched lights to 1st floor.
