6/32 Cottage at Famington Farm

Cottage. C17. Timber framed, close panelling with brick infill on
brick plinth, right end has jowled posts, old tile roof and brick external
stack to left end. 2-unit plan. One storey and attic with central dormer, C19
plank door in simple chamfered wood frame, C19 casements. Left end wall
entirely and right end partly rebuilt in brick. Exposed framing to rear.
Interior: Broad chamfered ceiling beam. Open fireplace with chamfered
bressumer and range, and oven in wall beside. Quarter turn stairs with
winders. C20 outhouse built against right end.
