Includes: Fenwick's MIDDLE MARKET STREET East Looe.
Town house with later shop. Probably early C18. Painted
slatehanging on timber-frame to front; steep rag slate roof
hipped at the front; C18 heavy moulded wooden eaves cornice
with moulding returned at the ends. Narrow double-depth plan.
3 storeys; 1-window range. Mid/late C19 paired 2-pane hornless
sashes; heavy C18 moulded cornice above 1st-floor window
creating a pseudo jetty (similar to building on corner site
between Broad Street and Southgate Street, Launceston qv).
Ground floor has recessed C20 bowed shop front with small
panes and possibly original moulded cornice above. INTERIOR
not inspected.
