Chymor and Sun Cottage

GV II

Town house at end of row, later 2 houses. C17, refronted mid
C19. Rendered rubble with bands to front; painted rubble to
right-hand end; steep concrete tile roof with two C20 dormer
windows plus shallower-pitch asbestos slate rear outshut;
rendered rubble stack on the right with later brick shaft and
rendered rear lateral stack to Chymor left. Double-depth plan
plus later outshut at rear right. 3 storeys with 2nd floor
partly in roof space; irregular 2-window range. Late C19
4-pane horned sashes except for old 4-pane 2-light casement to
1st-floor centre. Chymor has C19 4-panel door with top 2
panels later glazed. Sun Cottage has early C19 pilastered
doorway with moulded entablature and C20 door. Wall at rear of
garden has sockets for former beams of pilchard-pressing
floor. INTERIOR: retains original floors and roof structure,
(not fully inspected).
