Town house with later corner shop. C18, remodelled late C19.
Incised stucco on studwork and rubble, steep asbestos slate
roof, hipped to front end, brick stack to rear gable and
lateral stack on the left. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys;
2-window range. Late C19 4-pane horned sashes to front; C20
glazed door left of centre; late C19 corner shop on the right
with windows set back from corner and each part framed by end
pilasters with pedimented consoles and moulded entablature
with fascia. The front shop window has doorway with glazed
door and overlight on the left and 2-light horned sash on its
right; the 2-light shop window to right-hand return is a
transomed fixed light. To far right of return are 2 original
or early C19 16-pane hornless sashes. INTERIOR is simple where
inspected.
