House in row, with shop. Late C18 remodelling of earlier
house. Painted Flemish bond brickwork, C17 timber framing to
rear tile roof, with concrete tile to the rear main slope,
brick stack.
3 storeys and attic, 2-windowed. 4-pane sashes, at first floor
to segmental slightly haunched arches, stone cills. A 3-pane
small C19 shop front. To the right, to a throughway, a plank
door in a broad frame; the framed wall inside, to the right,
probably party wall to No.64 (qv), the Museum. The roof has
one lay-light to the left. Painted cill-bands, moulded eaves.
Large C17 brick stack to the rear eaves, and remnants of
timber-framing in the back wall, with a 2-light casement over
the throughway. A lower gabled back wing in brickwork has a
C19 panelled door. INTERIOR not inspected.
