Two houses, one now offices. Late C18. Street range rebuilt
mid C19. C20 alterations. Red brick, stuccoed front range,
slate roofs, rendered end stacks. L-plan 3-storey, 3-window
front range.
6-panel central door with overlight, moulded wood surround and
stucco surround with panelled pilasters, panelled frieze and
moulded cornice. Plate-glass sash windows to all floors.
Chanelled rustication to ground floor, vermiculated
rustication to window surrounds and quoins. Rusticated quoins
to 1st and 2nd floors. Moulded stucco surrounds to 1st and 2nd
floor windows, those to 1st floor with paired console brackets
to moulded sills and console brackets supporting pediments
filled by Prince of Wales feathers and motto scrolls with rose
sprays. 2nd-floor windows have moulded sills supported by
console brackets continued by sill band. Moulded 1st-floor
storey band, deep moulded cornice, and inflected parapet.
Bracketed cornice to chimney stacks.
Older, late C18 range to rear left, projecting forward beyond
left side elevation of front range. 3-storey, 4-window range
of red brick in Flemish bond with some flared headers 4-panel,
part-glazed door to far right with straight hood on shaped
brackets and C20 door to left of centre. 16-pane sash windows
to ground and 1st floors, with flat-arched heads and 12-pane
sashes to 2nd floor. 1st floor windows have small, shallow
cast-iron balconies on scrolled brackets and C19 blind boxes.
Stepped and dentilled brick eaves. 2-storey extension to left.
