895-1/2/60 No 19 Lock and Dunstall Park Bridge

GV II

Lock and bridge. 1770; restored 1980s. By James Brindley with
R.Whitworth and S.Simcock, engineers. Brick with stone coping.
Bridge has elliptical arch with stone jambs, brick hood and
keystone; brick-coped parapets and piers; iron name plate to
centre. Lock has double lower and single upper gates; overflow
channel to south. One of a flight of 21 locks on the
Birmingham Canal, Wolverhampton level.
