Gadara Cottage and attached garden
wall and outbuilding

GV II

House. c1820. Stucco with limestone ashlar dressings, brick
end stacks and a pantile valley roof. Double-depth plan. 2
storeys; 2-window range. Pilasters, cornice, parapet and coped
gable; a central door with a late C19 porch, and 6/6-pane
sashes with margin bars. INTERIOR: central hall and rear
central dogleg stair with stick balusters. SUBSIDIARY
FEATURES: brick outbuilding to the NE with a segmental-arched
doorway under an oculus and sloping roof, and garden wall to
the NW with pointed-arched doorway.
