Attached house. Mid C19. Stucco with limestone dressings, roof
not visible. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; 5-window range. A
symmetrical front has cornice and parapet; semicircular-arched
doorway, batswing fanlight and paired 6-panel doors.
Ground-floor windows set in semicircular-arched recesses, with
plate-glass sashes. Tented first-floor balcony has cast-iron
railings with pedimented lattice sections separated by panels
with round-arched anthemia, and cobweb spandrels. INTERIOR:
central mid C19 dogleg stair with cast-iron moulded balusters
and newel, curtail to both sides, 6-panel doors and panelled
shutters. Linked internally with St Vincent's Rocks Hotel
(qv).
