approx 85 metres to
north of Strines
Public House

Marker stone. Probably C18. Roughly-hewn sandstone slab with rounded top,
approx 0.5m high, inscribed with the words "Take Off". Indicates the point at
which an extra horse lent to the waggoner by the township should be taken off
the cart. Located at head of climb out of Strines Valley.
