Church Cottage

II

House, now divided. Late C16 with C18 extension to left, C20 restoration.
Timber framed, brick and stone plinth with brick cladding below to left, brick
infill to right, tile hung above. Plain tiled roof, hipped over extension to
left with offset end stack to right and rear ridge to left. L shaped plan,
projecting wing to left with lower hip roof wing attached. 2 storeys with attic
in gable to left, 3 casement windows on first floor centre and right and 1 in
hip roofed wing to left. Panelled C20 door in pent roof porch formed in re-entrant
angle of house. Doubled, half glazed, planked door to right under flat porch hood
on brackets. (Church Cottage). Catslide to rear.
