Terrace of 3 houses. c1840. Stucco with limestone dressings,
roof not visible. Double-depth plan. Late Georgian style. 3
storeys and basement; 2:1:2-window range. A composed terrace
with recessed centre, giant pilasters to the corners and
framing the outer doorways, to a cornice and parapet. Doorways
have overlights and 2-panel doors, with low attached walls,
the door to No.10 set to the left. Architraves to 6/6-pane and
3/6-pane second-floor sashes, console cornices to the outer
ground-floor windows. Slate balcony spans the centre with
cast-iron brackets and decorative railings. INTERIOR not
inspected. A near matching pair to the neighbouring Nos 6-8
(qv).
