8/132 Church Farmhouse

GV II

House. C17 core with C18 extensions. Timber framed on brick and stone plinth
to left, rendered plinth to right. Roughcast whitewashed cladding to left, red
and blue brick cladding to centre and right; diamond pattern tile hanging above
to centre, plain tile hanging on first floor of left hand return front. Plain
tiled roofs to centre and left with slate roofs to front right and over.
Extensions to right end. Hipped roof to left and on front right extension with
end ridge stack to main roof on right and detached stack to right end. T shape
with wing to left and pent roof extension to/front right; parallel range
extensions to right end. 2 storeys over basement with attic under casement
dormer to left, irregular fenestration, 1 leaded casement window to first floor
left, further window to first floor right of centre. Glazing bar sash window to
centre of ground floor, cambered head casement to right. Half glazed door to
left of centre up a flight of 8 steps.

Interior: Stone flagged floors. Come ceiling frames visible in ground floor.
Original ledged doors to first floor with wall framing and ceiling frames exposed;
old spiral stair from first floor to attic.
