Pair of town houses, now offices. c1810. Granite ashlar
basement, otherwise coursed local stone with some granite
dressings and stuccoed parapet; natural slate roof with brick
end stacks on the left, rendered chimney on the right.
Double-depth-plan mirror-image pair. 2 storeys over basement;
symmetrical 3-window front. Central pair of round-headed
slightly projecting doorways with ashlar pilasters and a
moulded hood linked to mid-floor string course, moulded
parapet cornice; probably original hornless sashes with
glazing bars under shallow segmental arches with projecting
key blocks. INTERIOR not inspected but likely to be of
interest. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: wrought-iron railings flank
entrance bridge of steps and return over forecourt walls with
steps down from either end.
