Farmhouse, probably early C17, with later additions, now cottage. Rubble,
rendered and whitewashed, stone slate roofs with 3 gable chimneys. Plan
of 3 elements, the principal being a single cell of 2 storeys. gable to
lane, with low single storey service wing on right and 2-storey single
cell extension set back at left side. Gable of central part has one
4-light double chamfered stone mullion window with hoodmould on each floor,
both offset to the right; rear gable has part of a similar window, part
blocked by present chimney and part broken by one of 4 recent windows.
Interior: at 1st floor is a single roof truss with cambered tie-beam,
collar, and mortices close to the apex (possibly for collar yoke), bearing
2 pairs of purlins (this is mostly concealed by later ceiling); blocked
1st floor window in side wall.
