GV II
Farmhouse and cottage, now house. Late C18 with later alteration. Dressed
limestone to front; limestone rubble to sides and rear; pantile roof; brick
stacks. Central staircase plan house, later extended into cottage to right;
outshuts. 2-storey, 3-window front. Centre left board door with blind
overlight, and centre right C20 door with overlight. 4-pane sashes
throughout. All ground floor openings have heavy tooled lintels. Timber
lintels to first floor windows. Coped gables and shaped kneelers. End and
right of centre stacks. Interior: stone fireplace with corbelled-out shaped
mantleshelf to centre room.
