Two cottages. Early C19. Limestone rubble wth continuous
pantile roof, stepped stone coping to left gable end and
central brick stack. Each of 2-unit central entry. 2 storeys;
each is symmetrical 2-window range. No.5, to the left (south),
has wooden lintels to probably all C20 windows, 6/6-pane
sashes with horns and forward frames to the first floor,
2-light casements with glazing bars to the ground floor; the
latter flank a planked and studded door with Moorish-style top
to an inserted window, under a slightly swept-up flat porch on
metal brackets. No.6, to the right, has 4/4-pane sashes
without horns, in forward frames, under wooden lintels,
flanking a C20 planked and studded door with strap hinges and
2 inserted windows to the top; under a hipped cedar shingle
porch. INTERIOR not inspected.
