Terrace of ten houses on eastern side of square. 1821-1828. By William Chadwell Mylne, Surveyor to the New River Estate; restored c.1970 by Andrews Sherlock, architects.

Gold and brown stock bricks set in Flemish bond with banded stucco ground floors; artificial-slate mansard roofs with dormer, brick party-wall stacks. Side-hall entrance plan with staircase. Three storeys, basement and attic; two windows each. Steps rise to elliptical-arched entrances on left: doorway with pilaster (Nos. 33-34 and 36-37), attached Doric columns (No. 35) and fluted 1/4 column (Nos. 38-42) jambs carrying corniced-head, twin-panelled door (Nos. 33-37 and 42 C20) and fanlight (No. 33 patterned original; others C20). Ground-floor 6/6 sashes; gauged-brick flat arches to upper floors. First floor with stucco sill band to 6/6 full-length sashes set in arched recesses linked by stucco impost bands; individual iron-bracketed balconies with Gothic patterned iron railings. Second floor 6/6 sashes. Plain parapets with brick string course
and stone coping. Attached iron area railings with urn finials.
