St Andrew's Vicarage

GV II

Detached house. c. 1845. Banded stucco to ground floor and
stucco lined as ashlar to upper floors; Welsh-slate roof with
stucco rear and end stacks. Centre-hall entrance plan. Three
storeys and basement; 3-window range plus full-height bow
window to left return. Steps rise to C20 enclosed porch.
Ground-floor and outer bays to 1st floor with 6/6 sashes and
1/1 side-lights; lst floor centre 6/6 sashes. All 1st floor
sashes with plain raised surrounds and sill band. 2nd floor
with horizontal attic sashes, each with pair of casements with
geometrically-patterned glazing bars. Coping stone to parapet.
Three-storey bow window of one-bay dominates left return of
house: detailing very similar to main elevation with stucco
work, 6/6 sashes and 1/1 side-lights to ground and 1st floors.
2nd floor with horizontal attic window composed of a pair of
2/2 casements with 1/1 sidelights. Coping stone to parapet.
Sensitive late C19 2-storey rear addition including bay window
to left return.
