GV II

Retaining wall with railings. Probably mid-late C18 with C19
railings. Concretionary limestone rubble with some brick
patching and renewed rendered coping; wrought-iron railings.
High wall using decorative quality of limestone formerly
enclosed houses, now encloses public car park to N of Galen
Building (qv); ramped up at S end. Simple spike-headed
railings have curved stays to principals.
