GV II

House. c1800 with late C19 wing. Stucco with slate roofs and
brick stacks to gable ends; Ham Hill stone cornice, sills and
doorcase. Main block is 3 storeys; 2-window range. Plain
pilasters rise from plinth to cornice. Steps to the right up
to a Tuscan-style doorcase with open pediment over engaged
columns and elliptical fanlight with radial glazing bars;
6-panel door. C20 metal window frames to second floor and
large 8/8-pane sashes elsewhere. C19 right-hand wing is 2
storeys; one-window range: it has a tripartite 1/1-pane sash
window under a segmental arch to the ground floor with a
moulded string course above and a 1/1-pane sash at eaves
level. INTERIOR not inspected.
