Pair of houses. c1850. Stucco with slate roof. Two storeys, two
bays to each house, bays at each end break forward under
pediment. 1st-floor sill band and top consoled frieze and
bracketed cornice. Windows have architraves, those to ground
floor have panelled aprons, and friezes and cornices, those
to first floor have eared architraves, all are sashed, most
with glazing bars. No. 48 has porch to return with entrance
in eared architrave to front and pediment and window with
stained margin lights to side.
