GV II

Railway accommodation bridge. c1885. For Spennymoor Branch of
North Eastern Railway Co. Rock-faced stone with ashlar
dressings. Wide segmental arch with stepped voussoirs and
large snecked masonry. Well-cut road-bed string. Coursed
squared stone parapets with gently sloping top to tooled
coping which continues across square parapet piers. Carries
farm road to Lodge Farm (qv).
