Row of houses, now shops. C17, refronted in C18 and C19,
altered in C19 and C20. Brick, roughcast to right (nos. 4 and
6), plastered to left (nos. 8 and 10). Plain tiled roofs. 2
storeys and attics with brick dentilled cornice, except to
left (no. 10) which has wooden eaves cornice. Various stacks
to rear and 4 gabled dormers. Slightly irregular 6-window 1st
floor, tall segment-headed casements, except sash to left (no.
10). Single shop front to extreme right with glazed door to
right (no. 4); single shopfront to right of centre with glazed
door to left(no. 6); double shopfront with central half-glazed
door to left (no. 8); single shopfront to extreme left with
glazed door to right (no. 10). Panelled door in moulded
architrave surround in centre, leading through to rear of
building.
