GV II

House. Early C18 with L-wing of early C19. Front faced with
coursed ashlar, right side stuccoed. Slate roof concealed by
stone coping. 3 storeys and basement 5 windows. Parapet with
stone coping and end pilasters. Sash windows set in moulded
architraves with keystones, the central 1st floor windows with
Gibbs surround. 2nd floor has 6 pane C18 sashes, 1st floor has
12 pane C18 sashes and ground floor has 12 pane early C19
sashes. Central pedimented doorcase with Gibbs surround and
half glazed door. 3 steps. Plinth. Basement has round-headed
windows with keystones. L wing to south is of 2 storeys faced
with Roman cement. 1st floor has 3 12-pane cambered sashes
with keystone and arched windows to ground floor with impost
blocks.
